Student Orientation, Advising and Registration

Now that you've been admitted to CSUSB, it's time to SOAR 2 Success! SOAR is required for all new undergraduate students and is much more than just choosing classes. It is an opportunity to meet other new students, discuss academic choices with advisors, explore majors and career options, get a feel for life in the residence halls, and learn what campus life is all about at Cal State San Bernardino.

SOAR provides you with key resources and tools to help ease the transition into the CSUSB community as you bond with other new students, fellow upper classmen, and your SOAR Leaders. Through workshops, discussions, guest speakers and special events, this experience will prepare you for life as a Coyote. At SOAR you will:

• Learn about services and resources available at CSUSB
• Plan your academic schedule and register for classes
• Become familiar with CSUSB policies and procedures
• Get the "inside scoop" on the campus
• Meet CSUSB faculty and staff
• Mingle with student clubs and organizations
• Build Coyote PRIDE: Power, Responsibility, Integrity, Determination, Enthusiasm
