Advising & Registration
When you attend an advising session, you will meet with an advisor who will help you select your fall classes. Then you will be able to register online using MyCoyote.
Testing
Students must take the ELM (Entry Level Mathematics Placement Test) and EPT (English Placement Test) prior to enrolling in classes at CSUSB. These tests will assist you in registering into the needed Math and English courses.
It is mandatory to complete any needed remedial Mathematics and English courses within your first year of attendance. This policy applies to all incoming Freshmen and Transfer students. If you have completed General Education English and Mathematics with a "C" or better at a community college, you do not need to take the EPT and/or ELM placement test(s).
